Wanna own mounted prints of these surreal Rene Magritte paintings real bad

It’s hard to tell sometimes, what I’ll love forever. It’s not always the same thing that I love right now.

Right now I want to track down big mounted prints of all three of these surreal Rene Magritte paintings and buy them at whatever price. But at the same time, I’m also saying to me: “If you hang all 3 of these in your one-room apartment, you will develop wack neuroses far worse than the ones you already have.”

Clearly, all three would be “too much.” But if I get just one, which should it be?

“The Heart of the Matter” might be the most expressive of “me” in that, you know, here I am, just a sometimes-stifled single lady whose favorite outlets of expression include music & travel. Right? But then, I’m primarily looking for something horizontally-oriented, to hang above my TV.

F’ing LOVE “The Lovers.” It might even be my favorite work of art of alltime. Maybe. Looking at it makes me feel big dramatic things, in a good way mostly. Plus the colors used would mesh nicely with the olive-green paint on my walls. But, I don’t know— what about days I’m anti- feeling big dramatic things? Will this be too much? Will it make me unstable? And if so, how much would I mind that?

“Les Amants” feels like a pretty OK compromise between the previous two. It’s like, yea these guys still have sacks over their faces but they’re “just chillin” instead of making out in a dark & extreme way. And it’s totally nice outside.

What do you guys think? Should I take some time to think it over? Should I get all three, all “come what may” style? Should I go with my gut and buy “The Lovers” even if it results in a nervous breakdown? Would a nervous breakdown be productive for me in the long run anyway?
