Finally got around to seeing Batman: The Dark Knight

Took me a lil while to see this movie. The first time I was supposed to was on a 2nd [last] date in which guy got violently ill in the restaurant, leaving me to scalp our tix to the sold out IMAX show in front of the theater, a box of uneaten pizza in my other hand. Ohh, LIFE.



me: joe i just watched dark knight for the 1st time
me: sooo confused
Joseph: why?
me: i dont know, am i stupid?
Joseph: it was a little unnecessarily complicated at times
me: yea like all the time
me: i was like wait where is he going
me: why is he doing this
me: whos in trouble
me: is maggie dead
Joseph: haha
me: honestly, about halfway through i was like, relax and just allow yourself to enjoy it even if you dont understand
Joseph: hmmm
Joseph: well, you see, bruce wayne is ALSO batman
me: …
