Next New Years— instead of hosting a half-dozen houseguests in one studio apartment like I just did— I am gonna get everybody together to party & crash at Nu Hotel Brooklyn. You guys, there are HAMMOCKS in the rooms.

The 93-room, newly built hotel was designed by Datumzero Design Office… The Nu Friends Suites are equipped with bunk beds and modular furniture, and Nu Urban Suites feature a cozy bed niche with leather surroundings, a sitting area and custom hammocks… The bathrooms have stone and glass showers, rain head showers, Aveda bath products and chalkboard walls where guests can jot notes for housekeeping, travel companions or themselves.

Oh damn, I love chalkboard walls & rain head showers.

Nu Hotel’s rates start at $200 per night. Not too shabby given all the Aveda swag you’ll grab & the wildly unspeakable acts that’ll go down in your CUSTOM HAMMOCK.
