Could it be? Yeasayer = the best band I’ve seen live this year?

I went to their sold out Friday show at Music Hall. I was mostly a fan of “2080” and wasn’t expecting them to be this frickin good. Amazing, amazing, amazing. I could barely walk home, what with all the dancing in bad shoes (especially during “Sunrise” when the whole place went nuts— so good, can’t even express in words, you guys).

Now I’m doing the thing I always do the weekend after a show, trying to re-live it via YouTube clips. Check out these awesome ones from a taping at Minnesota Public Radio in October. Oh man so good, even without all the bright lights & beer.
