Devendra Banhart discovers dating an adorable actress has some perks in “Carmensita”

Venezualan folk rocker Devendra Banhart [Insound/Myspace] released a music video this week for his new single “Carmensita,” featuring an adorrrrable performance by none other than his current real-life ladyfriend, Natalie Portman.

Spinner.com describes the video as: “a clip that is full of dancing, hammy special effects and tongue-in-cheek subtitles with questionable English translations. Banhart plays a prince who must use his snake-shooting eyes, knife throwing prowess and ‘rebellious beard’ to save the a beautiful princess.”
