I love the new video for She & Him’s “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?”
There’s a video now for what just happens to be my favorite track off She & Him’s Volume One (the project between M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel that made #1 on my Top 20 Albums of 2008 So Far). And I find it just as sweet and lovely as the song itself (as Stereogum says, “She should be in pictures”):
I love all of it: Zooey, her outfits, the chompy ghosts, the cartoon blood, when M. Ward shrugs all silly at the beginning, etc.— really, just the whole entire thing in general. In fact, I was in an awful bad mood before I watched it, and now I feel better.
