Ben & Jerry’s unveils four new yummy flavors

Clearly this is the biggest, most exciting news I will ever post about. I can barely contain myself this morning over the e-mail I just received with the deets (slang for “details”) on FOUR NEW FLAVORS FROM BEN & JERRY’S!!! Check these bad boys out, you guys.


These 3 new ice cream flavors and one new frozen yogurt are being released in celebration of Ben & Jerry’s 30th anniversary this year! Right now you can only find them in the brand’s scoop shops, but they’ll soon make their way to the local deli you consistently stumble into for treats on the way home from the bar despite always passing out with your clothes on before cracking open a single pint or bag of funions. But then hey! What’s this in my freezer the next day! Did Santa Claus come home with me in the cab??

Here are the new flavor descriptions.

ONE Cheesecake Brownie: Cheesecake ice cream with cheesecake brownie chunks. A joint effort with Google in support of the ONE campaign to fight extreme poverty and preventable diseases around the globe.

Imagine Whirled Peace: Caramel and sweet cream ice creams swirled with fudge peace signs and toffee cookie pieces. Inspired by John Lennon, whose signature is on the container & everything.

Cake Batter: Yellow cake batter ice cream with a chocolate frosting swirl. This is the official Ben & Jerry’s 30th birthday flavor.

Strawberry Banana FroYo: Strawberry banana frozen yogurt with strawberries and a strawberry swirl. According to the website, this delivers “great taste but with less guilt,” perfect for my Irish Catholic pals.
