Heath Ledger found dead in downtown Manhattan

My pal Ray just told me Heath Ledger died this afternoon. I thought he was joking because when I searched Google news, not a single story came up. Then, not even five minutes later (when Ray swore he wasn’t playing one of his infamous pranks) I searched again and it’s suddenly everywhere. Here’s the NY Times story that was just posted, which states his death was likely due to a drug overdose. The masseuse found him. :(

Sad news, people. He was a celebrity crush of mine and a fellow Brooklynite. It especially kind of sucks that godawful TMZ was the first to break it.
