Oh thank god Mary-Kate is alright, as she is my favorite Olsen

I only found out yesterday that Mary-Kate Olsen was hospitalized last week for a pretty intense kidney infection, oh man, over Thanksgiving & everything. She’s out and totally fine now, thank goodness. I’m just miffed I didn’t find out about this sooner since I thought everybody knew Mary-Kate is by far my favorite Olsen twin.

“They’re twins, asshole,” is the usual reaction from those I reveal this guilty-pleasure favoritism to. Obviously these haters have not observed the subtle yet solid differences between the two sisters. First of all, what the hell is “classy” Ashley up to right now, besides dating Lance Armstrong like a total creepo? Whereas kick-ass Mary-Kate is thriving in her regular role on the 3rd season of Weeds:



I also tend to side with MK when it comes to fashion. Ashley is always pristinely put together, whereas Mary-Kate injects a little bit of grungy slobbishness into her couture. She’s a swank little bohemian princess, and I love her. Look at the two here (MK on the right in both photos looking like a slightly sloppy little adorable angel):



Also, FACT: Everytime I get a venti-sized Starbucks beverage I think of her and feel extremely cool carrying it around. I am also considering getting into oversized scarves and deep v-necks.



What a swank little princess. I can’t bear the thought of her shuffling around in a drab hospital gown, although I’m positive she must’ve worked it regardless & made it happen, as I trust she always does and will. Anyway I’m sure glad she’s OK now.
